As a Production Illustrator on over 65 Feature Films, Daren has contributed to the look of a lot of hours of cinema, including on Four Art Direction Oscar© Nominated films.

Though he started his career using conventional analog drawing and painting techniques, he transitioned to digital painting and 3D modeling and tries to maintain the quality of design and execution throughout all his methods.

Working for the Los Angeles based FX and Commercial production company MOVING TARGET, Daren has had the pleasure of working on compositing, 3D animation, camera matching, and matte shots for several major films.

In addition to acting as Visual effects supervisor on Robert Wise's STAR TREK THE MOTION PICTURE DIRECTOR'S EDITION, Daren did visual effects for a proposed Re-vamp of the original Star Trek Episodes.
